Retail & Commercial Renovation of a Boutique in Saint-Jean

Narrow Site Constraints

The program of this project called for a full renovation to modernize an existing boutique in Saint Jean tightly packed between it's neighbors and near a busy intersection.

Because of the narrow site constraints, a subterranean level was excavated in order to create space for an on-site sanitation system. Additional improvements included providing accessibility for disabled persons and implementing fire & safety systems to comply with current building code standards. Lastly, Bureau Xavier David coordinated the interior design & build.

With the success of the original project, in 2014 Kiwi expanded into the second boutique with a dedicated "Men's Shop" also overseen by Bureau Xavier David.
