The vision at Hôtel Les Îlets de la Plage is one of low-key relaxation and sunny seclusion. Beginning with a renovation of three beachfront bungalows, Bureau Xavier David began a 30+ (and counting) years relationship by managing the maintenance and the construction of another nine villas set within the ample garden space that complete the present day resort.
The most recent chapter in the development of the hotel was provided by hurricane Irma. The hotel participated in the reconstruction effort by providing temporary housing for telecom workers as well as some local residents who lost their homes. Nonetheless, the hotel of Les Ilets de la Plage was also one of the first hotels on St Barts to re-open post-Irma in time for Thanksgiving of 2017.
